A Meandering Sort of Tuesday
Truth be told, I haven’t had a very productive day even though I intended to check many items of my to-do list. Have you had days like that? Where you had all these plans of the things you were going to get done but somehow the day completely got away from you? I’m sure many of us can relate, especially during this pandemic. When this happens, I just decide to surrender. I sit down and have a cup of tea. Because otherwise it’s too easy to get overwhelmed and allow the negative self talk to take over.
Maybe some days aren’t meant to be “productive”. Maybe some days are meant for meandering.
We are having some gorgeous weather here in Seattle. I did get outside for a nice & sunny hilly neighborhood walk with my husband and two dogs. I also had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy a mindful cup of Jungpana 2nd Flush Darjeeling from my local favorite Miro Tea. This tea is rich & bold, woody & sweet with floral & citrus notes. It is a favorite. I had time to bask in the beauty of this Empress aromatherapy candle and selenite stick that arrived yesterday from Jupiter Goods There was the kindest little note included with my order. Little human touches like that really make a difference, don’t you think?
It’s good to slow down even when you feel like you’re already going too slow. Sometimes I laugh at myself for feeling behind. Behind what? Life is not a race.
Tea is a good reminder. 💖🙏🏼 🕯 ☕️
Do you give yourself permission to meander? Tell me about it in the comments. I'd love to hear!
